Vista Planning & Design has
a considerable history in successful permitting, mostly in the Austin region including
Austin Site Development Permits. At this point in time, site planning through design
development and landscape ordinance compliance permitting are the mainstay practice areas.
Detailed site planning knowledge of a very wide variety of uses is valuable when it comes to
providing feasibility analysis. Vista’s approach is to work through concepts with hand
drawings to scale and once criteria are addressed to a great extent and the client is ready
to move with cost estimates and engineering then all site plan work moves to CAD for
distribution to the consulting team. The hand drawing process also tends to add more flavor
and therefore more insight to the goals of the resulting project. This process allows the
client to explore multiple variables at a relatively low cost prior to setting in motion,
more substantial contracts.
