Mitch Wright has been
practicing Landscape Architecture for 30 plus years, most recently
with his company, Vista Planning & Design. The philosophy
surrounding all of Vista’s work is finding the right balance
between connecting with the community involved with the project,
thoughtful environmental stewardship, tied together with high
quality design. Mr. Wright’s practice spans a very broad
spectrum of services and projects from small scale landscape
architecture, to City comprehensive
planning.
Most recently on the boards are various permitting projects, a food forest in a public park, city master planning, city parks and open space master plan, site permitting, bioreserve park on public land, and a corporate campus landscape master plan. Vista’s work is spread across Texas in several cities. Mr. Wright is active with The Real Estate Council of Austin, American Society of Landscape Architecture, American Institute of Certified Planners, American Planning Association, Texas Recreation and Parks Society, Congress of New Urbanism, and is a certified planner as well as a registered landscape architect.
